Raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated IgG preparation, this polyclonal reagent recognizes ASIC5 (Acid-Sensing Ion Channel 5), a member of the degenerin/epithelial sodium channel superfamily. ASIC5, also referred to as INAC (intestinal sodium channel), is predominantly expressed in gastrointestinal tissues including the small intestine and colon, and has also been detected in sensory neurons of the dorsal root ganglia. The antibody is validated for Western blot applications on mouse and rat samples and is provided in a 50 µL vial, supporting research into ion channel physiology, mechanosensation, and the role of acid-sensing channels in nociception and gut function.
