Acid-Sensing Ion Channel 3 (ASIC3) is a proton-gated cation channel expressed predominantly in sensory neurons of the dorsal root ganglia, where it contributes to detection of tissue acidosis and mechanical stimuli associated with nociception. This unconjugated IgG polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and validated for Western Blot (WB) detection of ASIC3 in mouse and rat samples.
Supplied as a 50 µl vial, the antibody supports research into inflammatory pain, mechanosensation, and acid-evoked neuronal signalling. Typical experimental contexts include characterisation of ASIC3 expression in sensory neuron cultures, investigation of chronic pain models, and studies of peripheral nerve injury. Store refrigerated and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity. For research use only.
