Anti-ASIC3 Antibody

Raised in rabbit as a polyclonal IgG preparation, this unconjugated primary antibody targets Acid-Sensing Ion Channel 3 (ASIC3), a proton-gated cation channel of the DEG/ENaC family expressed predominantly in small-diameter sensory neurons of the dorsal root ganglia. The reagent is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous ASIC3 from mouse and rat samples, where the channel migrates near its predicted band around 58 kDa.

Each vial is supplied as 100 µL of antiserum suitable for routine immunoblotting workflows. For best stability, refrigerate the stock in working aliquots and protect from light, and limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the thawed material. ASIC3 immunoreactivity is routinely examined in models of acid-evoked and inflammatory pain, including peripheral nerve injury studies of mechanical hypersensitivity.
