Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a research-grade primary reagent, this polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and selectively targets endogenous ASH2L — a nuclear component of the MLL/SET1 histone H3K4 methyltransferase complex. The product is offered in a 50 µL aliquot at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4, without Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺) containing 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. No fluorophore, biotin or other reporter molecule is attached, leaving the antibody unconjugated and well suited to downstream labelling chemistries of the user's choice. Immunisation was performed with a recombinant human ASH2L protein, and the resulting antiserum was further purified by affinity chromatography on the immobilised immunogen to enrich for antigen-specific IgG. The reagent has been validated by Antibodies.com in Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) workflows, and reactivity has been confirmed against human and mouse samples, making it appropriate for studies of chromatin regulation, transcription-factor biology and epigenetic signalling. For routine handling, the supplier ships the vial refrigerated at 4 °C and recommends that customers aliquot immediately on arrival, then store the working stocks at –20 °C, taking care to minimise freeze/thaw cycles to preserve activity. As with all Antibodies.com catalog items, this product is labelled strictly for research use only and is not approved for clinical, diagnostic or therapeutic application. Researchers working on histone-modifying complexes, haematopoietic lineage commitment or MLL-rearranged leukaemia models will find it a reliable bench reagent within the broader Antibodies.com epigenetic-antibody portfolio.
