Anti-ASC Antibody

Offered through the Antibodies.com catalogue of primary antibodies, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against ASC (apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a CARD), generated using a synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminal region of the human protein. The antiserum is supplied as a 50 µL liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL, prepared in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative. The unconjugated IgG preparation detects endogenous levels of ASC and is validated for western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), making it suitable for inflammasome and pyroptosis research workflows across a broad range of sample types. Cross-reactivity has been confirmed in human, mouse, and rat specimens, while the antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography to minimise background. For laboratory use only, the vial is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored long-term at -20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve binding activity.
