Anti-ASC Antibody

The ASC adaptor protein, also called PYCARD or TMS1, is a 195-residue bifunctional scaffold that links NLR family sensors to pro-caspase-1 through an N-terminal PYRIN domain and a C-terminal CARD. It sits at the crossroads of inflammasome assembly, IL-1β and IL-18 maturation, and apoptosis, and its redistribution into a single perinuclear speck is one of the most widely used readouts of inflammasome signaling in primary immune cells and transfected lines.

This polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum. It has been validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry on fixed sections, immunofluorescence imaging of endogenous specks, and ELISA workflows, and it cross-reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples so the same vial can support rodent disease models and human translational cohorts.
