Anti-ART5 Antibody

The antibody was raised against recombinant full length Human ART5 and detects endogenous levels of ART5 protein. It is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with a reported purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The reported molecular weight of the target is approximately 32kDa.

ART5 belongs to the ARG-specific ADP-ribosyltransferase family, whose members regulate target protein function by attaching ADP-ribose to specific amino acid residues. The mouse homolog lacks a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchor signal sequence and is predicted to be a secretory enzyme, and several transcripts encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene. The product is formulated at 1mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% Glycerol, with an IgG isotype.
