Anti-ARSA Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit against arylsulfatase A (ARSA), also known as ASA or cerebroside-sulfatase. It was generated using a synthesized peptide derived from an internal region of human ARSA and purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography with the epitope-specific immunogen. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) containing 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a stabilizer. Validated applications include Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and the antibody has been confirmed to detect endogenous levels of total ARSA in human, mouse, and rat samples. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
