This unconjugated Mouse monoclonal antibody specifically recognizes Arrestin-β-1, a 48 kDa cytosolic scaffold protein central to G protein-coupled receptor desensitization, internalization, and β-arrestin-dependent signal transduction. Supplied by Antibodies.com as a purified IgG in a 100 µl vial, the reagent is formulated in 0.1 M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 50% glycerol, and 0.2% sodium azide as a preservative.
Validated for Western blot, the reagent cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat orthologs, enabling comparative studies across cell lines, primary cultures, and tissue lysates. Researchers investigating GPCR signal termination, receptor trafficking, biased agonism, and downstream MAPK or PI3K pathway modulation routinely use anti-Arrestin-β-1 reagents to probe phosphorylation status, membrane recruitment, and interactions with receptor cytoplasmic tails.
The antibody is intended for research use only. Store refrigerated and aliquot upon first use to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding activity across repeated experiments.
