ARNT (Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor Nuclear Translocator), also designated HIF-1β, is a basic helix-loop-helix PER-ARNT-SIM (bHLH-PAS) transcription factor that partners with hypoxia-inducible factor 1α, the aryl hydrocarbon receptor, and SIM family members to drive xenobiotic and hypoxic gene programs.
This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against human ARNT and is validated for western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human, mouse, and rat samples. It is supplied as 100 µl of antibody, providing flexibility across membrane and tissue section workflows.
Researchers apply this reagent to probe HIF-1β expression in vascular, hepatic, and tumor hypoxia studies, dioxin/AhR signaling experiments, and developmental investigations of cellular responses to low oxygen. The polyclonal format supports recognition of multiple epitopes on the ARNT protein, which can be advantageous when probing full-length and variant isoforms in complex lysates, including nuclear extracts prepared from cultured mammalian cells.
