The polyclonal ARMCX1 antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated reagent in a 100 µl vial format. ARMCX1 (Armadillo Repeat Containing X-Linked 1) is a mitochondrial-targeted scaffolding protein implicated in mitochondrial trafficking, organelle dynamics, and the regulation of programmed cell death pathways. The target is widely studied in neurobiology because of its high expression in central nervous system tissue and in oncology, where altered ARMCX1 levels have been reported in several tumor types.

This reagent is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and ELISA workflows against human samples, and it performs cleanly on standard reducing gels and on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections. The polyclonal format provides broader epitope coverage than a monoclonal clone, which is useful when probing denatured targets on membranes or when working with post-translationally modified mitochondrial proteins. Aliquot on arrival to limit freeze-thaw cycles, store refrigerated in working volumes, and protect from light; avoid sodium azide when the antibody will be used downstream in assays that conjugate to amine-reactive dyes.
