ARHGEF7 is a Dbl-family Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor, also known as PIXB and COOL-1, that activates Cdc42 and Rac1 GTPases at focal adhesions and along the leading edge of migrating cells. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against full-length ARHGEF7 and is supplied as 100 µl of IgG in a vial. It cross-reacts with mouse and rat orthologs in addition to the human protein, and is validated for western blot detection of the endogenous target and for immunohistochemistry on fixed tissue sections.
Researchers commonly use this antibody to study PAK-mediated signaling downstream of integrins, Rho GTPase-dependent cytoskeletal remodeling, and the regulation of cell–matrix adhesion in neuronal, epithelial, and immune cell types. Each vial contains 100 µl; for optimal preservation, aliquot on receipt and store frozen, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
