This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets ARHGEF5, a Rho family guanine nucleotide exchange factor involved in cytoskeletal remodeling, cell migration, and intracellular signal transduction. Raised in Rabbit, the antibody is supplied as 100 µl of stock and is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on Human samples.

ARHGEF5 (also known as TIM) catalyzes guanine nucleotide exchange on RhoA and related small GTPases through its tandem Dbl homology (DH) and pleckstrin homology (PH) domains. Researchers investigating tumor cell invasion, focal adhesion turnover, and Rho GTPase signaling cascades use this reagent to probe endogenous protein expression in fixed cells and tissue sections, as well as in lysate-based immunoblotting.

The unconjugated format allows flexible pairing with secondary reporters of the researcher's choice, supporting both indirect fluorescence and chromogenic detection schemes. Its polyclonal character provides recognition of multiple epitopes on the target, which is useful when working with samples that may carry polymorphism or post-translational modification.
