The Antibodies.com polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit against ARHGEF5, a Rho-family guanine nucleotide exchange factor that activates RhoA, RhoB, and RhoC GTPases and is studied in the context of cytoskeletal remodeling, focal adhesion turnover, and invasive cell migration. This unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, a buffer combination that stabilizes the immunoglobulin fraction for extended storage and tolerates repeated freeze-thaw cycles when the antibody is divided into single-use aliquots at -20 °C. Validated for Western blot, the reagent detects endogenous ARHGEF5 in whole-cell and tissue lysates prepared from human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling comparative signaling studies across species. The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes on the target, which is useful when probing truncated variants, isoform-specific bands, or post-translationally modified forms of ARHGEF5 that arise during cytoskeletal or oncogenic signaling experiments.
