Anti-ARHGEF2 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and purified by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide, this polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com targets ARHGEF2, a Rho/Rac guanine nucleotide exchange factor implicated in cytoskeletal regulation. It is supplied as a liquid at 1 mg/mL in Phosphate Buffered Saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. The unconjugated antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide derived from human ARHGEF2 (amino acids 383–432) and is validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence and ELISA, with suggested starting dilutions of 1:500–1:1000 for WB and around 1:20,000 for ELISA. Cross-reactivity studies report no reactivity against other species, while the antibody demonstrates reactivity with human, mouse and rat samples. The expected molecular weight of the target is approximately 101 kDa, making this preparation suitable for routine detection of endogenous ARHGEF2 in cell and tissue lysates across standard research applications.
