Anti-ARG2 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets mitochondrial Arginase 2 (ARG2), an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of L-arginine to L-ornithine and urea within extrahepatic tissues. This unconjugated primary antibody is validated for Western Blot (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and is reactive with human samples.

Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody at 1 mg/ml, formulated in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide as a preservative and 50% glycerol for enhanced stability. The polyclonal antibody recognizes multiple epitopes on the ARG2 target, providing robust signal detection across experimental conditions. ARG2 plays a central role in immune regulation, polyamine and proline biosynthesis, and has been implicated in tumor metabolism and inflammatory disease pathways.

For Western Blot, the antibody typically detects a band at approximately 36-38 kDa corresponding to the ARG2 protein, with 10-20 µg of total protein recommended per lane.
