ARFIP1 (ADP-ribosylation factor-interacting protein 1), also known as Arfaptin 1, is a binding partner of activated ARF1 and ARF6 small GTPases. It modulates the assembly of coatomer-coated transport vesicles at the trans-Golgi network and links Arf signaling to Rho-family GTPase pathways that drive actin remodeling, lamellipodia formation, and membrane ruffling.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal anti-ARFIP1 antibody from Antibodies.com was raised against the ARFIP1 target. Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody solution and detects the native protein in human, mouse, and rat samples. Validated applications include western blot (WB) for quantifying ARFIP1 expression across cell lines and tissue lysates, and immunofluorescence (IF) for visualizing its subcellular distribution at the Golgi apparatus, plasma membrane ruffles, and endosomal compartments.

Because the antibody is unconjugated, it pairs with HRP, alkaline phosphatase, Alexa Fluor, or biotin-labeled secondaries, supporting chromogenic blotting, fluorescence microscopy, and proximity-labeling workflows. Researchers studying membrane trafficking, synaptic vesicle recycling, and ARF/Rac-driven cell migration have used this reagent to track endogenous ARFIP1 levels and to map co-localization with Golgi-resident proteins such as GM130, endosomal antigens, and actin cytoskeleton components.
