ARF6 is a small GTP-binding protein of the ADP-ribosylation factor family, best known for driving clathrin-independent endocytosis and for coordinating membrane trafficking with actin dynamics at the cell cortex. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against the human ARF6 sequence and cross-reacts with mouse and rat orthologues, making it useful for comparative studies in cell biology and oncology labs where ARF6-linked invasion, cytokinesis, and receptor recycling are of interest.

The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of an unconjugated whole-IgG preparation at 1 mg/ml, buffered in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide as a preservative and 50% glycerol for freeze-thaw stability. It is validated for western blot detection of the ~20 kDa ARF6 band and for immunohistochemistry on fixed sections, with the polyclonal mixture providing broad epitope coverage that helps when probing low-abundance samples.

Storage at -20 °C in small aliquots is recommended to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and the glycerol content protects the protein against denaturation during routine handling. Researchers studying endocytic trafficking, immune synapse formation, or ARF6-associated signalling will find this reagent well matched to their work.
