ARF6 (ADP-ribosylation factor 6) is a small Ras-related GTP-binding protein that regulates plasma membrane trafficking, receptor endocytosis, and cortical actin remodeling. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2, in a 50 µL vial.

The reagent was raised against ARF6 and recognizes endogenous protein in human, mouse, and rat samples. It is validated for western blot workflows, where the polyclonal format offers multi-epitope recognition useful when probing low-abundance targets or resolving GTP-bound versus GDP-bound conformational states of the protein.

ARF6 controls the internalization and recycling of membrane cargo and has been studied in contexts ranging from immune synapse organization to invadopodia formation and invasive behavior in tumor cells. Researchers commonly apply this reagent to whole-cell or tissue lysates to monitor expression, subcellular distribution, and signaling-driven relocalization of ARF6.

For blotting, dilute in blocking buffer and incubate with transferred protein overnight at 4 degrees C. Aliquot upon first use and store refrigerated; the sodium azide preservative helps maintain stability across repeated short-term applications. Intended for research use only.
