Anti-ARF6 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com as a rabbit polyclonal reagent, this antibody targets ADP-ribosylation factor 6 (ARF6), a ~20 kDa member of the small GTPase family involved in clathrin-independent endocytosis, actin remodeling at the cell periphery, and receptor recycling. ARF6 also modulates cell adhesion, migration, and signal transduction downstream of Rac1 and phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate, which is why the reagent is frequently used in cell biology, cancer research, and studies of intracellular membrane trafficking pathways.

Confirmed for Western blot (WB) detection, the antibody recognizes ARF6 from human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting cross-species comparison in tissue lysates and cultured cell models. Each vial provides 100 µL of unconjugated antibody at 1 mg/ml, formulated in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. Polyclonal reactivity gives broader epitope coverage for capturing conserved regions of ARF6 and its GTP- and GDP-bound states, which is helpful when probing interactions with ARF-GEFs and ARF-GAPs.
