Anti-AR Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG targets the Androgen Receptor (AR). The unconjugated antibody is raised in rabbit, purified by affinity chromatography, and supplied as a liquid. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 1–100 of the human Androgen Receptor (NP_000035.2), and the antibody is reported at molecular weights of 80 kDa / 110 kDa.

Reactivity is described for human and mouse samples, with the manufacturer additionally noting rat reactivity. Validated applications include Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF); the catalogue also lists IHC. Recommended dilutions are WB at 1:500–1:1,000 and ICC/IF at 1:50–1:200.

The reagent is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, with a lot-specific concentration.
