From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against AQP5 and is designated Y243. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The reagent is supplied unconjugated.
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 220-270 of Human AQP5, and the antibody detects endogenous levels of AQP5 protein. It has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a reported purity of > 95% (by SDS-PAGE). The product is formulated at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The target protein has a molecular weight of ~ 36 kDa.
