Anti-AQP5 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against Aquaporin 5 (AQP5), offered by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent. The IgG antibody is unconjugated and supplied as a liquid preparation for research use.

Validated by the manufacturer for Western blot and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, the reagent is also listed for use in immunohistochemistry. Recommended dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for Western blot and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. Reactivity has been demonstrated with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

The antibody was generated against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 200–265 of human AQP5 (NP_001642.1) and is purified by affinity chromatography. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 28 kDa. The product is formulated in phosphate buffered saline at pH 7.3 containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, and is supplied at lot-specific concentration. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
