Anti-AQP4 Antibody

Provided through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit-derived polyclonal reagent raised against a recombinant human AQP4 (Aquaporin-4) immunogen, also known by the synonyms AQP-4, Mercurial-insensitive water channel (MIWC) and WCH4. It is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume as an unconjugated preparation, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4 containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The antibody is intended to detect endogenous levels of total AQP4 protein and has been validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows on human, mouse and rat samples. The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
