Anti-APP (phospho T668) Antibody

A Rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody to Amyloid Precursor Protein (phospho Thr668), offered by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent. The host species is Rabbit, with reactivity confirmed in Mouse and Rat samples. The antibody is validated for Western blot application.

The immunogen used to generate the antibody is a synthetic phosphorylated peptide around T668 of human APP (NP_958817.1). The target modification is phospho Thr668, with a reported molecular weight of 87 kDa. Recommended starting dilution for Western blot is 1:500–1:1,000. The product is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and is purified by affinity chromatography. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon receipt, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
