Anti-APOBEC3G Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against APOBEC3G (apolipoprotein B mRNA editing enzyme, catalytic subunit 3G), a cytidine deaminase with well-known roles in innate antiviral defence. The antibody is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and it is unconjugated, allowing users to apply their own detection chemistries. The immunogen is a recombinant human APOBEC3G protein, and the reagent has been affinity-purified against that immunogen to enrich for antigen-specific immunoglobulin of the IgG isotype. It is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) on human samples, with additional rat reactivity reported on the supplier page, making it a flexible option for cross-species expression studies. Shipped at 4 °C for stability in transit, the vial should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored long-term at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve antibody activity.
