Anti-APOBEC3C Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified for research use on human samples, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets APOBEC3C, a member of the AID/APOBEC cytidine deaminase family that edits single-stranded DNA and contributes to innate restriction of retroviruses and endogenous retroelements. Endogenous protein is detectable on immunoblots, in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, and by immunofluorescence, supporting studies of APOBEC3 family expression and subcellular distribution in normal and malignant tissue.

The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and should be stored frozen at -20 °C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles; the glycerol cryoprotectant also tolerates short-term handling at 4 °C. The unconjugated format is ready to be labelled or used directly in western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows.
