Targeting human apolipoprotein B for cardiovascular and metabolic research, this unconjugated mouse monoclonal IgG primary antibody from Antibodies.com (clone A1329) binds the structural backbone of LDL, VLDL, and chylomicron particles. Supplied as 200 µl of liquid, it is validated for western blot, immunocytochemistry, and flow cytometry workflows.

The reagent recognizes both the hepatic APOB-100 isoform and the truncated intestinal APOB-48, supporting studies of lipoprotein assembly, LDL receptor–mediated clearance, and the cellular mechanisms of atherosclerosis. As a quantitative marker of atherogenic particle number, apolipoprotein B is widely used in cardiovascular risk stratification alongside LDL cholesterol measurements. Researchers investigating familial hypercholesterolemia, hypobetalipoproteinemia, and dyslipidemia apply this antibody to lipoprotein fractions, hepatic cell lysates, and hepatocyte model systems. For western blot, it resolves the high-molecular-mass APOB band; for flow cytometry, it enables surface and intracellular detection in cultured hepatocytes and adipocyte-derived cell lines.

Aliquot the antibody upon arrival and store refrigerated; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity. For research use only.
