Anti-APOA1 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com directed against apolipoprotein A I (APOA1). The unconjugated reagent is validated for western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence applications and is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples. According to the manufacturer datasheet, it was raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 25–267 of human APOA1 (NP_000030.1), and the concentration is reported as lot-specific.

The liquid product is supplied in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300 and has been prepared by affinity purification. The associated target has a molecular weight of 29 kDa. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:100–1:500 for western blot, 1:50–1:200 for immunohistochemistry, and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The vial is shipped at 4°C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
