Offered through Antibodies.com as part of the Primary Antibodies catalogue, this affinity-purified reagent is raised in rabbit and recognises endogenous levels of Apolipoprotein A-I (ApoA-I, also known as Apo-AI and Apolipoprotein A1). The polyclonal antibody was generated against a synthesised peptide derived from the internal region of human ApoA-I and purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, ensuring selective binding to the target protein. It is supplied as an unconjugated liquid at 1 mg/mL, formulated in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and the 50 µl pack size provides a flexible volume for routine immunoassays. The antibody has been validated for Western Blot (WB) and ELISA applications, and it cross-reacts with both Human and Mouse samples, making it suitable for translational studies across species. For short-term transport the vial is shipped at 4°C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. The product is intended for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. Western blot data on the supplier page demonstrate detection of ApoA-I in K562 cell lysates, supporting the antibody's performance in standard immunoblotting workflows and providing confidence for laboratories working on lipid metabolism, HDL biology and cardiovascular research.
