Anti-APLP-2 (Y274) Antibody

This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent targeting APLP-2 (amyloid beta precursor like protein 2), an intracellular and membrane-associated protein encoded on chromosome 11. It is supplied unconjugated and validated for western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, reacting with human, mouse and rat samples.

The antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 250–300 of human APLP-2 and detects endogenous levels of APLP-2 protein. The target protein runs at an apparent molecular weight of approximately 87 kDa and is reported to localise to vesicles and show low tissue specificity.

The product has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography with the epitope-specific immunogen, achieving a purity greater than 95% as assessed by SDS-PAGE. It is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and is accompanied by two scientific validation images.
