Anti-APLNR Antibody

The APLNR gene encodes the apelin receptor (also called APJ), a class A G protein-coupled receptor that mediates signaling by apelin peptide hormones. The apelin/APJ pathway regulates cardiovascular function, angiogenesis, fluid homeostasis, and energy metabolism, and has been investigated in the context of heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and metabolic disorders.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody is raised against APLNR and validated for Western blot detection of the human apelin receptor. Supplied as 50 µl of liquid antiserum by Antibodies.com, the reagent is used to probe APLNR expression in human cell lines and tissue lysates.
