Anti-APLNR Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified from polyclonal sera, this unconjugated IgG reagent from Antibodies.com binds the human APLNR protein, a class A G protein-coupled receptor also designated APJ or AGTRL1 that mediates signalling by apelin and ELABELA peptides. The reagent is supplied as a 100 µL liquid aliquot and validated for western blot detection of endogenous APLNR in human tissue lysates.

APLNR migrates near 43 kDa on SDS-PAGE and is broadly expressed in cardiomyocytes, vascular endothelium, vascular smooth muscle, renal epithelium, and central nervous system neurons, where it contributes to cardiac contractility, angiogenesis, vasotone regulation, and fluid homeostasis. Researchers investigating cardiac hypertrophy, pulmonary arterial hypertension, tumour neovascularisation, and metabolic disease commonly probe the apelin/ELABELA axis with this reagent.
