Raised in rabbit, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent targets APIP, the APAF1-interacting protein (also called APIP2), which functions in the methionine salvage pathway and modulates mitochondrial apoptotic signaling through APAF-1. Researchers investigating tumor biology, polyamine and methionine metabolism, or cellular stress responses use it in western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human and mouse samples, where it supports detection of endogenous APIP in cell lysates and formalin-fixed tissue sections.
Supplied as 100 µl of liquid in a single vial, the antibody is reactive against both human and mouse APIP and is provided unconjugated for flexible pairing with horseradish peroxidase, fluorophore, or biotin labeling chemistries. Typical working protocols include dilution ranges for western blot membrane probing and antigen retrieval–based IHC on paraffin-embedded tissue. The product is shipped by Antibodies.com with supporting documentation needed for reproducible immunodetection in apoptosis and oncology research laboratories.
