Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against APEX1 (also known as APE1), a key DNA base excision repair enzyme, and is designed to detect the endogenous level of total APEX1 protein in human, mouse, and rat samples. The immunogen is a recombinant human APEX1 protein, and the antibody is affinity-purified on the immunogen to maximise specificity, leaving the preparation unconjugated and free of carrier proteins. It is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a ready-to-use phosphate-buffered saline formulation (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative, and 50% glycerol, with no added magnesium or calcium ions. The 50 µL size is intended for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) workflows, making it suitable for both cell-based imaging and standard immunoblotting of whole-cell lysates. As a polyclonal reagent generated in rabbit, the antibody offers broad epitope coverage of APEX1 and may be paired with anti-rabbit secondary reagents for chemiluminescent or fluorescent detection. Shipments are dispatched from the Antibodies.com facility in St. Louis, Missouri, with a typical lead time of six to nine business days, and the product is labelled for research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
