Anti-Apelin receptor Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets the human Apelin receptor (APLNR, also known as AGTRL1 or G-protein coupled receptor APJ) and is supplied as100 µl of an unconjugated, antigen-affinity purified preparation. The antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region within amino acids 2 and 66 of Apelin receptor, and it is formulated in 1× PBS with 1% BSA and 20% glycerol (pH 7.0) with 0.01% thimerosal added as a preservative. It is intended for use in Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications on human samples; validation data shown on the supplier page include a Western blot on30 µg of H1299 whole-cell lysate run on a 10% SDS-PAGE gel with the antibody used at a 1:1000 dilution, and an immunohistochemical stain of a paraffin-embedded OVCA xenograft at 1:100 dilution. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C, and upon receipt should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve performance. As a polyclonal reagent generated in rabbit, it offers a broad epitope coverage against the Apelin receptor and is suitable for research laboratories studying GPCR signalling, angiogenesis, and cardiovascular biology.
