APEH (acyl-peptide hydrolase, also called N-acylaminoacyl-peptidase or DNF15S2) is a cytosolic serine protease that removes N-terminally acetylated amino acids from peptides and short proteins, contributing to intracellular protein turnover. The enzyme has been linked to oxidative-stress responses, proteasome function, and inflammatory signaling, and altered APEH activity has been reported in models of neurodegeneration and hepatocellular injury.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against APEH and is supplied at 100 µL, supporting Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows. The antibody is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples, allowing cross-species studies in cell and tissue lysates.

For immunoblotting, the reagent is typically applied to whole-cell or tissue extracts separated by SDS-PAGE, while the IF format supports subcellular localization work where APEH's cytoplasmic distribution can be examined. Researchers studying proteostasis, neurobiology, or liver-pathology models commonly select this polyclonal reagent to maximize epitope coverage of the APEH protein.
