Human Acylaminoacyl-peptidase (APEH), a cytosolic serine protease (EC 3.4.19.1) studied in hepatocellular carcinoma progression, oxidative-stress signaling, and neurological tissue remodeling, is detected by this polyclonal rabbit antibody from Antibodies.com. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as a 100 µl vial for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows on cultured cells, frozen sections, and paraffin-embedded tissue. By hydrolyzing N-acetylated amino acids from peptide substrates, APEH contributes to the proteasomal protein-degradation pathway, and the antibody's broad polyclonal coverage enables reliable profiling of APEH abundance across normal and disease samples. The reagent pairs with standard anti-rabbit HRP or fluorescent secondaries for chromogenic or immunofluorescence detection, supporting comparative studies of peptide-metabolizing enzymes, proteasome biology, and cancer biomarker discovery in a research-use-only context.
