Anti-APCS Antibody

Offered through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against a recombinant human APCS immunogen and is designed to detect the endogenous level of total APCS protein, also known by the synonyms 9.5S alpha-1-glycoprotein, PTX2, and serum amyloid P-component. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, with no magnesium or calcium ions present. It is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and according to the supplier it has been verified for reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at −20 °C, with care taken to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Intended strictly for research use, the reagent is not designed for diagnostic or therapeutic applications and is supported by affinity purification performed against the immunogen to help ensure target specificity.
