Anti-APC Protein Antibody [KT44]

Supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µg liquid formulation, this Anti-APC Protein Antibody [KT44] clone is a rat IgG2a monoclonal reagent validated for western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) applications. It specifically detects the mouse Adenomatous Polyposis Coli (APC) tumor suppressor, a large multifunctional scaffolding protein of approximately 310 kDa that regulates beta-catenin turnover in the canonical Wnt signaling pathway and maintains colonic epithelial homeostasis. Loss-of-function mutations in APC are the initiating event in the majority of sporadic colorectal cancers and in familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP).

KT44 is intended for probing full-length APC in mouse cell lysates and tissue sections, supporting studies of Wnt-driven transcription, intestinal crypt biology, and tumor suppressor signaling. The unconjugated format allows flexible pairing with secondary antibodies of choice for immunofluorescence imaging or chemiluminescent western blot detection.
