Anti-AP2A2 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against alpha Adaptin, the protein product of the AP2A2 gene. It is supplied as an unconjugated IgG in liquid form and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 590-939 of human Alpha2-adaptin/AP2A2 (NP_036437.1), and the antibody is affinity purified. It is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300. The target has a predicted molecular weight of 104 kDa, and antibody concentration is lot specific.

Reactivity has been confirmed in human, mouse and rat samples. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
