The AP2A1 protein (adaptor-related protein complex 2, alpha 1 subunit) forms part of the heterotetrameric AP-2 adaptor complex that drives clathrin-mediated endocytosis at the plasma membrane. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent, supplied by Antibodies.com at 100 µl, was raised against AP2A1 and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human and mouse samples. It supports studies of clathrin-coated pit assembly, receptor internalization, and synaptic vesicle recycling in cell biology and neuroscience pipelines, and the polyclonal format presents recognition of multiple epitopes across the roughly 107 kDa target.
