AOX1 (Aldehyde Oxidase 1) is a molybdenum-containing cytosolic enzyme predominantly expressed in human liver, where it drives phase I xenobiotic metabolism by oxidizing aldehydes and aromatic N-heterocyclic substrates. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against the AOX1 target and validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications on human specimens, supporting studies of hepatic drug clearance, pharmacogenetics, and oxidative biotransformation pathways. Supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum in a single-use vial, the antibody is affinity characterized for binding to native aldehyde oxidase protein, enabling reproducible detection across both WB and IHC workflows.
