Anti-AOX1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as part of their Primary Antibodies catalogue, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against aldehyde oxidase 1 (AOX1), the molybdenum-containing enzyme also referred to as AO or AOH1. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from the internal region of human AOX1, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of the target. It is supplied as a liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, at a concentration of 1 mg/mL, and the 50 µL vial is unconjugated with an IgG isotype background typical of rabbit polyclonals. Validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry and ELISA, the reagent has been confirmed to cross-react with both human and rat samples, making it suitable for comparative studies across these species. The product is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C upon arrival to preserve activity, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
