Annexin A2 (ANXA2) is a ~38 kDa calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding peripheral membrane protein involved in plasminogen activation at the cell surface (as part of the heterotetrameric complex with S100A10/p11), membrane–cytoskeleton dynamics, vesicle trafficking, and exosome cargo sorting. This mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against ANXA2 and validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications on human specimens.

Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antibody, the reagent binds the endogenous human target in cell lysates and formalin-fixed tissue sections. The unconjugated format allows researchers to pair the primary reagent with user-selected secondary detection systems (HRP, biotin, or fluorescent labels), giving flexibility in assay design. ANXA2 is frequently studied in the context of tumor biology because it is overexpressed in many malignancies and implicated in metastatic progression, drug resistance, and viral entry mechanisms.

For best results, aliquot the antibody upon receipt and store at 4°C; for longer-term storage, freeze at -20°C in working volumes to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the antibody preparation. Monoclonal production ensures consistent epitope recognition across experiments.
