This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets ANTXR1 (Anthrax Toxin Receptor 1, also referred to as TEM8), a cell-surface glycoprotein implicated in anthrax toxin entry mediated by Bacillus anthracis, tumor angiogenesis, and interactions with extracellular matrix components. Manufactured by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated primary antibody reagent, it is supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum raised in rabbit and validated for western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows.

The reagent is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting cross-species studies of ANTXR1 expression in normal and diseased tissues. ANTXR1 has been studied extensively in the contexts of oncology, vascular biology, and infection biology. Investigators examining tumor vasculature, endothelial cell biology, or matrix remodeling can apply this reagent to characterize ANTXR1 expression in cell lysates, tissue sections, and cultured cell models.

Each vial is delivered unconjugated, allowing pairing with secondary detection chemistries such as HRP conjugates, fluorescent labels, or biotin-streptavidin reagents suited to the experimental platform. Short-term storage at 4°C is appropriate for working aliquots, while aliquoting and freezing at -20°C or -80°C extends antibody stability across repeated experiments. The polyclonal format offers recognition of multiple epitopes on the ANTXR1 antigen, an advantage when probing splice variants, post-translational modification states, or denatured targets on western blot membranes.

Researchers should consult the product datasheet for recommended working dilutions, fixation and permeabilization conditions for immunofluorescence, and buffer compatibility before experimental use.
