Anti-ANP32C Antibody

The ANP32C protein belongs to the acidic leucine-rich nuclear phosphoprotein family and is most prominently expressed in testicular tissue, where it contributes to chromatin remodeling and histone acetylation control. Produced in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal antibody targets the native human, mouse, and rat ANP32C polypeptide for detection in western blot workflows.

The reagent is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) supplemented with 0.05% sodium azide at pH 7.2, packaged as 100 µl aliquots sufficient for many immunoblotting runs. It is unconjugated, allowing researchers to pair it with HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary reagents of their choice. Sodium azide is included as a preservative; for downstream applications incompatible with azide, buffer exchange is recommended before use.

Studies of Anp32c-deficient mice have reported impaired spermiogenesis, making this reagent useful for reproductive biology, chromatin biology, and cancer research where altered ANP32 family expression has been investigated.
