Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against Annexin II (also known as Annexin A2) and is supplied as a 50 µl liquid at a working concentration of 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The antibody is unconjugated and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen — a synthetic peptide derived from the internal region of human Annexin II — so it specifically detects endogenous levels of the target protein in validated applications including Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA. Cross-reactivity has been confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples, making it suitable for comparative studies across these species. For routine handling, the product is shipped cold at 4 °C and should be aliquoted on arrival and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve binding activity. Intended strictly for research use, this polyclonal is a reliable option for laboratories investigating Annexin II–dependent membrane and cytoskeletal processes.
