Anti-Annexin I Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal reagent is directed against Annexin I (also known as Annexin A1), a calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein implicated in inflammation, membrane trafficking and glucocorticoid-mediated signalling. The antibody was raised against a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human Annexin I and, following affinity-chromatography purification against the epitope-specific immunogen, is supplied as an unconjugated, carrier-stabilized liquid at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The 50 µl pack size is validated for Western blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA, where it selectively detects endogenous levels of the target in Human, Mouse and Rat samples, making it a versatile option for cross-species studies. Because the host species is Rabbit and the clonality is polyclonal, the preparation contains a heterogeneous pool of immunoglobulins (predominantly IgG) recognising multiple epitopes on Annexin I, which improves signal robustness in IHC and immunoblotting applications. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and, upon receipt, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C; repeated freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided to preserve antibody activity.
