Anti-ANKS1B Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against ANKS1B, supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation for western blot applications. The reagent is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples and is affinity purified from a liquid antiserum. The formulation is provided in phosphate buffered saline at pH 7.3 with 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. Recommended western blot dilutions are 1:500 to 1:2,000, and the expected molecular weight of the target is 80 kDa.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 261–510 of human ANKS1B (NP_858056.2). For storage, the antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. It is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. Validation images provided with the product show western blot analysis of various cell line extracts performed at a 1:1,000 dilution with a goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L HRP secondary at 1:10,000, using 25 µg lysate per lane and 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST as blocking buffer, with ECL detection.
